5.0 out of 5 stars Great little stress reliever
I ordered this Isolkinetics Hand Exercise Squeeze ball because I thought it would help with tension and stress relief and might also help with occasional stiffness from writing or doing other tasks. I got a green one and it seems to work very well. I suppose there isn't much that could go wrong with one of these things, but the green one which is a medium resistance...

3.0 out of 5 stars Hand exerciser_Extra Firm
I was a little disappointed after getting the Isokinetics Extra firm hand exerciser it was not as firm as my other hand exerciser that I have from another company that is rated as medium.

I got a green one and it seems to work very well. I suppose there isn't much that could go wrong with one of these things, but the green one which is a medium resistance level seems about right for my purposes. The egg shape is nice and has an interesting look. It would probably be a good product for someone with arthritis or other conditions affecting the flexibility of the hands. It would also be helpful in improving one's grip.

I recently had carpal tunnel release surgery and in order to avoid having to go in to the doctor's office for physical therapy I struck a deal with him that I would do exercises at home. I ordered these balls and they are perfect for helping me to increase my grip strength. I can do it while watching TV. They are also easy to wash with mild soap and water. Dry with a towel.

The hard part is keeping my children AWAY from them... they seem to disappear every time I want to use them. LOL.

4.0 out of 5 stars Overall Great Stress Ball, October 9, 2009

This is a great stress ball to work on my anxiety and stress. I got the extra soft and soft and they are just perfect. I got one egg shaped & one ball shaped. I think I like the ball shaped better, but it's not that big of a difference. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the texture is sticky, any time I drop the ball it ends up picking up some of my 3 pets' hair. Even though I vacuum all of the time, any time you drop it, stuff gets on it especially hair if you have pets. And while it is easy to wash off, I just wish it wasn't so sticky because having to wash the ball any time I drop it is kind of a hassle.
But what I like about the texture is that it is long lasting and you'll have it forever cause it won't break.

I bought the Isokinetics egg shaped squeeze ball to exercise an injured finger. I also bought one of those regular stress balls that seems to be filled with beans or something- I much prefer the Isokinetics ball and use it often. It provides static resistance and automatically reforms. It is a nice small size so I can focus my energy on the one finger that is injured rather than needing to engage all fingers and thus potentially defeating the purpose. It is a nice, bright color so I leave it out on my desk which also makes me use it more often.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great Isokinetics product, July 23, 2008
This review is from: Isokinetics Inc. Brand Hand Exercise Squeeze Ball - Egg Shaped - 5 Resistance Levels (Misc.)
I've become quite a fan of Isokinetics products and these squeeze balls are in keeping with their high quality, low price theme. I got this along with their Isokinetics Exercise Tubing with Handles - 4 Resistance Levels, which I also love. I know it's probably hard to mess up a rubber squeeze ball, but at least I found nothing wrong with this one. I got a medium and soft and they work just fine. One thing I looked for was a solid core because I read about other balls with a liquid core that exploded (that's what the review said), so I wanted to stay away from that.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Incredible egg, August 16, 2010

I got the egg because my hand was tingling from sleeping on my arm at night. Wierd and uncomfortable sensation, but the egg helped. I bought the blue firm but I have a firm grip so its easier for me to squeeze.
Seller shipped quick.

Since I had some old fashion hand exercisers, I decided to start with the very firm one. It seems nice but it almost feels a bit too easy still. Maybe I am just not using it right, since not much of instructions (just few pictures of some poses).
Still, it is a nice egg and can help with the hands. I just wish it were a little bigger!

I found this product while searching Amazon for therapeutic putty for my stiff hands. I am 49 and have developed mild morning stiffness. When I found these exercisers, I decided to try them instead after some reviewers stated that they were not messy like the putty. I purchased three densities; medium, firm and soft. I LOVE all of them. I keep one in my night stand to use right away, and another in the kitchen. The third one I keep in the car to use when I am stuck in traffic. It has been about one month and I have noticed improvement in strength and agility. They are also great for use after long sessions on the computer. Because of the colorful and cute shapes, the whole family likes them -- my teenage son uses them as a hand workout for his baseball pitching.
