the book that keeps me in tip-top shape for 26 years, January 2, 1998
This review is from: Isometrics: The Static Way to Physical Fitness (Paperback)
Ann Chan (ttait@ulti.net)Toronto, Canada.I read this book 26 years ago and practise most of the isometric exercises in it. I am happy to say that eventhough I am 50, I have a slim and attractive body all these years. Thanks to Victor Obeck for his illustrated book which was easy to read and follow.

Isometrics - the Static Way to Physical Fitness., February 7, 2011
This review is from: Isometrics: The Static Way to Physical Fitness (Paperback)
I've been practising isometrics for some years now and am always on the look-out for a more efficient, time-saving way of doing things. This booklet shows that 'new is not always best'.
This work was written not many years before I started physical training on my own in 1974, without the benefit of a gym, so you might suppose I know a little about my subject.
I am not afraid to say that, if you follow the instructions in this booklet, you will see results. The two men who wrote it knew what they were at - never mind that they were writing nearly fifty years ago.
Well worth buying, reading and using as a good grounding guide in home isometrics training. I'm amazed no-one has re-printed it.
