Bahbah examines Israeli exports of military hardware within the context of the burgeoning worldwide arms industry and Israeli dependency upon U.S. protection and foreign policies. The Israeli arms industry is detailed as well as the economic and political relationship between Israel and Latin America. Bahbah contends that the Israeli goals for its arms industry, military self-sufficiency, political independence, and strengthening of its economy have not been met.
