From the depth of his biblical Christian faith and personal and professional relationships with key Israeli, military and other world leaders, Joel Rosenberg is uniquely qualified to help us all think clearly of the threats we face in today's world. This book is yet another conversation about the dangers of a nuclear-armed, and increasingly deranged, spiritually twisted, Iranian leadership. Like his book Epicenter and, more recently, Implosion, this book too is well worth our time.

As a bit of a side note, I found it very striking, and profoundly comforting, to discover that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now holding regular Bible studies in his home. Even as the angry conversations rage around him and about him, he has a new found appreciation for Sabbath rest and scripture study. He sees the Word of God as central to Israeli life and the entire conversation. His son recently won a national Bible quiz competition and went on to take third internationally. He is quite proud to say his son has now become one of his advisors! While Netanyahu has never been a particularly spiritual man, there now seems to be a fresh openness in the midst of crisis.

Pray for the leaders of Israel - that God would speak and that leaders would listen. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that Almighty God would be exalted in this constantly fluctuating situation. Pray that God would remove the enemies of faith and peace. Pray that leaders in the United States and the rest of the world would respond appropriately to evil threats. Pray that war would not be necessary.

And pray for wisdom about our own situation - are the lamps of America filled with oil and ready for the coming of the Bridegroom or are we ignoring the signs all around us?

Benjamin Netanyahu, the current Prime Minister of Israel, will have to make a decision that may soon lead to the most devastating war in modern history in the Middle East. Joel Rosenberg, a top expert and consultant on Middle Eastern affairs gives us an inside look at Netanyahu and the decision he faces. Having personally worked with, and for, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Rosenberg is highly qualified to give us an inside look. This book gives us a clear, current, and concise history and explanation of the threat that Israel, the U.S., and the world faces from the country of Iran.

Remember that what really matters is not so much whether Iran is actually engaged in producing a nuclear weapon. What matters most is whether Israel PERCEIVES that Iran is building a weapon that threatens their existence as a nation. Israel has destroyed the nuclear programs of two other nations that they perceived were a threat. Since the likelihood of an Israeli attack on Iran is high, it follows that it really does matter to us what decision Benjamin Netanyahu makes in the near future. What do you think will happen to the price of gas in the U.S. if the Strait of Hormuz were closed, or if oil tankers in the area were threatened? Joel's book helps us understand the man who has to make the decision that will affect YOU and your wallet. Get informed. Read it!

If you know Joel Rosenberg, then you really don't need to read this book. There isn't anything that is surprising about his views of Israel and an nuclear armed Iran.

Rosenberg takes us in a close-up trip to the Israeli Prime Minister and how he handles this situation with the Iranians. What this book truly does is give us a better understanding of the man, Netanyahu.

His writing is clear. His knowledge is crisp.

You won't finish reading this book wondering what Rosenberg believes a nuclear Iran will do and how Israel will respond.

He pulls in the United States and the how the situation will implicate us.

This is a fairly short book at only 100 pages so there really isn't much to review because so many people already know Rosenberg from his fiction writing.

This will resonate with people who already agree with his thinking.

i felt that there was more information that is going on in the arab nations than what the media is telling. people need to be informed by this type of media than the media that is broadcast over the air waves. thanks joel, for your inside knowledge of what is REALLY happening to our brethren in the state of Israel.

Israel has been at war, but sadly the world refuses to accept this. They have struggled to live in their own land since its rebirth in 1948 after being expelled in 70 AD. Israelis simply want to live and raise their children. They are not interested in taking over the world and driving any people group out of their land, they simply want their own land, land that has been theirs since God gave it to Abraham 3500 years ago. It is theirs and there is no question. May the LORD Yeshua HaMashiach make a way and use His strong arm to bring peace to Israel and to all the peoples of the earth who look to His return.
