Easy to Follow Dance Steps and Great Historical Review
I enjoyed reading this dance instruction manual. The traditional Jewish choreographies were fun to learn and I especially liked the overview of historical information on Israel. I believe that you cannot perform any world dance publicly if you don't have as much solid info on the cultural background and source of the dance as possible. A lack of knowledge concerning...

Completely useless book
This is a mistitled, completely useless book. It has recipes, the Hebrew alphabet, some vague historical stuff, plus exactly three dances, poorly described. If you buy this book to learn Israeli folk dancing, you are wasting your money.

I enjoyed reading this dance instruction manual. The traditional Jewish choreographies were fun to learn and I especially liked the overview of historical information on Israel. I believe that you cannot perform any world dance publicly if you don't have as much solid info on the cultural background and source of the dance as possible. A lack of knowledge concerning ethnic dance can devastate a dance program and is disrespectful to the culture. This is a manual for beginner students and I would recommend it to any of my sister dancers who are interested in learning the basics of Israeli dance.
