Another terrific addition to Osprey's Combat Units series! Shlomo Aloni has captured the IAF in all it's glory, just as he has with his previous Osprey books, Israeli Phantom Aces and Israeli Mirage III aces. The color profile artwork is as usual superb, and it's nice to finally see the actual Israeli pilot's names declassified instead of seeing them as 'Captain S' or 'Major D' as we've seen so often in publications from the 1980's or before.
Being a model aircraft builder, it was hard NOT to dig my Israeli A-4E off the shelf and begin work on it after reading this one! Keep up the great work Shlomo! |
