1.0 out of 5 stars LIberation Movements Under Another Title, November 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Istanbul Variations (Paperback)
Would not have purchased "Istanbul Variations" if I had realized it was Steinhauer's "Liberation Movements" under a different title. Don't understand why publishers do this. Anyway, it's a very good book and I highly recommend reading it as part of Steinhauer's four book series following a small group of criminal investigators and 'state security' officers in an unnamed Eastern Block country in the years following World War Two. But watch out for alternately titled version, such as "Vienna Assignments" which is the same book as "36 Yalta Boulevard."
