ItaliaArabia juxtaposes 80 works by mid-twentieth century Italian and Middle Eastern artists, revealing the impact that each culture has had on the other. an additional collection of manuscripts, textiles, musical instruments, and cartographic documents span an entire millennium of Italian, Ottoman, Safavid and Qajar cultural traditions, creating a historical frame of reference for the visual and thematic convergences of the twentieth century.
