This CD combines two albums that Connie Francis fans and Italians will truly enjoy. Lots of the old Italian songs that became popular in the U.S. in the 1950-60s.

These are Connie's first Italian recordings and also her highest charting. They have been released separately on CD several years ago, but it is nice to have them together to give folks an idea what an international singer Connie Francis is. She can capture the moment in any language and was especially fine in Italian. Of her 5 US Italian lps, Love Italian Style is the best. I hope it sees the light of day on CD. Some of the selections can be found on her Italian Collection 1 and 2. This particular CD boasts big production values with luscious arrangements you can almost eat up. Ah, Bella Connie. A feast for the ears and always a delight.

my mom listened and sang to Connie Francis. listening to Connie puts me back at 8 or 9, you know, the good old days and guess what? i am now 57!

I had heard that these two albums were really good and they lived up to those expectations.Connie Francis was such a recording star one the the greatest female singers of all time.

She is one of the old greats. Her voice is beautiful and she handles Italian very well and best of all you can understand what she says. No screaming and filthy words.

If you like Connie Francis and Italian favorites, you will love this CD. It will put you in a happy mood!

What a disappointment! I'll give these discs away to anybody who wants them. They may be useful to scare birds away from fruit trees by hanging them in the branches. Connie's rendition of "Volare" is truly painful!

When I was scanning the available item, I only saw cassette tapes. I was interested in the music but not happy for n obsolete casette tape. I received the item. It was defective. I emailed the seller. I was told to send it back for replacement.

The item cost me no more than $3 + s/h. Now I have to go to the post office to return it. I hate the trips - that is why I buy thru the internet. I have yet to find time - and willingness - to go to the p.o. Defeats the very reason I buy with convenience thru the web.

I like that amazon shows a note when I order that I've purchased the product before - found out I already bought the cd 2 years ago. Good thing I didn't order that and a whole bunch more that I forgot I already have. Got to track down what I have already. So I like that little reminder. Kudos to amazon.
