Unlike hybrids, they are not selectively bred for taste or appearance. They are open-pollinated, growing 'true to type' plants, like their predecessors, from seed. Heirloom Tomato Plants will add untraditional color and pleasing variety to your garden harvest.
Italian Grape Tomato: The original grape cluster tomato from Italy. This three foot tall plant produces bite-sized tomatoes on beautiful grape-like clusters. Usually eight to ten, one ounce grape-shaped tomatoes per cluster. Makes the salad complete!Indeterminate. 80 days

Grape Tomatoes, always good,

I was looking for some good Grape Tomato seeds as they are always sweet, small, and don't squirt like the cherry tomatoes. These grow great and I am actually ordering them to give to a friend to grow because I have liked them so much.
Stay growing from the seed packets as the grape tomato hybrid seeds may be unstable past one generation. I recommend you grow these tasty little tomatoes in your home as they don't take up alot of room. These tomatoes would grow great on a patio, like in the article we have about growing patio tomatoes on my site. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. [...]

This is a wonderful variety of grape tomato. Their taste and consistency is completely different than the cherry tomato so don't get them confused. These are much sweeter and easier to eat and I love them on salads. They grow well in containers and make a rather attractive plant if you keep the tips cut back once they have gone into bloom. If you don't you get some very leggy plants. I do recommend this variety highly and have enjoyed them for quite some time now as my mum use to grow them.

My first season with these seeds went well, as I grew two plants that produced a fair amount of fruit. The tomatoes were very sweet and just the right size for me (not so large to require cutting, and not too small to not have enough juice). I grew my plants in a container, but will try putting them in the ground next year to see if they produce more fruit. Germination rates were excellent - 4 out of 4 seeds planted sprouted.
