This book has helped me so much! I'm not an AP student. I'm an Italian-American who never had the time to learn Italian as a youngster. Now, as an adult, I have the chance to visit the land of my ancestors and want to be able to speak! This book is easy to use and perfect for self-study. The explanations are clear and there are plenty of exercises. I love that each answer is explained. I can move at my own pace and self-test along the way. It has really given me the confidence I needed. Sometimes I listen to the CD's while I'm working around the house and also in the car. A great find!

This book maintains a perfect pace throughout. The chapters are laid out in an excellent progression and they appear just when you are ready to move on.
