Worthwhile for me,

This review is from: Italian: Level 3: Learn In Your Car (Audio Cassette)
I greatly improved my Italian with this program. I got it packaged with Vocabulearn Italian Level Three as Global Access Italian Advanced. Level Three is very good for the student who already knows the basics of Italian grammar, but cannot recall the forms quickly enough to carry on an intelligent conversation. The examples can give comfort in using common sentence patterns as well as providing a more advanced vocabulary. I found it most valuable in the sections dealing with reflexive verbs and the conditional tense as well as certain idiomatic usage. The basic technique is simply repetition and logic. I did not find it a particularly fast process, but my knowledge of the conditional tense and reflexive verbs is firm. I don't have to think about using them. It's automatic. I wish I could find something comparable that would give me the same ease in using the passato remoto and the subjective tenses. I think this is an excellent supplement to the study of Italian grammar. Four stars.

This review is from: Learn in Your Car Italian, Level Three [With Guidebook] (Audio CD)
If you are not using Italian all the time it's easy to get rusty on verb forms in the different tenses. This CD course will give you a much needed review and drill with advanced verb forms and other parts of Italian grammar that it's easy to forget. It is level three, so it's not for the beginner.
