Joni actually worked with a Professor of Italian at UCLA to make sure her dialect was just right on her 1964 collection of Italian folk songs! And she strived for the same authenticity on 1961’s 'Folk Songs', recording in Nashville with the great Owen Bradley. Two long-out-of-print MGM albums, two dozen tunes done only like Joni could do ’em. A 'Collectors’ Choice Music' exclusive!
