The italics handwriting is hands down the best handwriting series. It is easy to learn and very beautiful. Even my left handed 5th grader son has beautiful handwriting in both cursive and print. I am a homeschooling mom and I wouldn't consider any other program!

Legibility PLEASE!,

I hate cursive. It makes my brain HURT!
My just turned 11yo daughter has beautiful penmanship that is LEGIBLE! She continues getting more and more efficient with her handwriting. I see her breazing through speed-of-light college lectures and her classmates wondering how she does it without catching the paper on fire! Of course, by then she'll probably be typing her notes which she's currently working on. I recommend Sponge Bob! If you love your child, you'll choose this for them and all the people that read their handwriting will thank you for it.

Smooth Transition to Writing,
By
This review is from: Italic Handwriting Series Book D (Paperback)
My last two of seven children have used this program... they have nicer handwriting than the other five.
The repetition is necessary and very helpful. Moving into italic writing versus printing is very easy and smooth with this program. Nine years old seems like a good time to use this book. Another great plus to this program is that with just a very little guidance and oversight, the student can easily go through this book on his own.

Great, but "meatier" than the first three,

We have used the entire series. It works well for kids to do on their own and the handwriting is very nice. This book is a bit more tedious than the others (it is longer and cursive is used)... but it still produces nice writing and is easy to use.
