Michael Heatley is a journalist and musician of 30 years\u2019 standing who writes for Guitar and Bass magazine in Britain and has penned over 100 music books since editing the History of Rock. He has met and interviewed guitarists as diverse as Slash (Guns N\u2019Roses), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Brian May (Queen), Mike Oldfield, Steve Miller and Steve Vai. He's based in the UK.

Who in the name of goodness decided to use print so small one either needs to use a magnifying glass or "squint" for hours attempting to read this thing. I'm sorry I kept the book, and embarrassed that I gave it as a gift. The pictures are quite nice, but I stopped trying to figure out where they were taken at about page five. Seriously, this book is not physically readable without magnification. Unbelievable!

Having traveled to Italy several years ago and anticipating a return, I gave this book to my husband for Christmas. The pictures are wonderful and depicted many great memories for us. Although this is not a travel book per se, we are using the pictures to plan where we would like to go next time.

The only minor complaint I have about the actual book is there is a noticeble bump feel to the pages. You can't see it, but as you turn through the pages and swipe your hand across the page you can feel it. It doesn't affect the enjoyment of the book, but it annoys me somewhat. I initially was going to purchase this book at a local book store. I went through each book they had and there was the same problem. Since these books were in the "discount" bin, I figured that was the reason. I decided to order from Amazon thinking this bump wouldn't be there. Unfortunately, it was not different from the books in the book store.
