Boots were what I was expecting. Similar to the "moon" boots I had in the 80's. The sole is pretty thin, but you get what you pay for. I wear them on my motercycle on below freezing days, and they keep my feet warm.

I bought these boots for my son that's 13, and his feet never got wet walking home in the snow from school. When he walks I can tell he has them on, because he walks like they are heavy, but they do keep his feet warm.

Though these boots are very warm, they LEAK! After the first snowfall my bf said one foot felt wet. We were in denial and decided his sock was wet before he put the boots on..but alas, both boots leak! Not sure from where, but we pulled the linings out to dry and the inside souls were sopping. Very disappointed since bf said they are comfy and warm, but don't stay warm once wet! They are also a little clunky when walking and he tended to scuff along in them. What a bummer of a Christmas gift :(

These boots have no tread. Don't be fooled by the picture or else you'll be fighting FOGDOG to send you a return slip as I am doing now. Made 5 calls and have finally had to file an A-Z claim thru AMAZON. Huge hassle.

Finding something that my husband loves is very hard. These boots hit a home run this Christmas. He loves them. Got here fast and good quality.

Great product - well constructed and nicely insulated. A perfect snow boot that has a tough rubber bottom that keeps your feet nice and dry. Easy to slip on and off. I've owned numerous pairs of snow boots over the years - this is the best bargain by far.. shipping included in price!!

Hubby needed a new pair of snow boots so I chose these. There is not as much tread on the bottom as I may have liked, but he says they are comfortable to wear.

I got these for my husband to use during the New England winter, which can be a long one! He used them a lot this past winter, and so far they've held up well. He says they keep his feet warm, and haven't leaked yet.

I bought these for my husband, and he likes them well enough... he said they keep his feet warm while sledding and hiking through the snow.

He doesn't like that the string that cinches the top flops around when he moves or that they are so wide. He doesn't have particularly narrow feet, but the molded plastic bottom seems quite wide. Extra socks help, so not worth returning.

The boots arrived when they said they would.
