It is my feeling that this is truly one of the best albums preformed by John. I have always been a great fan of his. This album speaks from his heart to yours. These songs reflect a part of his life, as most of his songs do. I believe that if more people would listen; really sit quitely and listen to the song "It's About Time" it might help them to look at our world differently and if that one song can touch just a few hearts it may help to make our world a better place. Even through all of his hard times, which he sings about too, he always wanted to do all that he could to make this world a better place. It was a sad day when he passed from among us. However he will alway live on in his music, and in that way, with this album and all of the others he will continue to show us the way toward a better future. It really is about time. If only we cold dedicate one day to this wonderful artist who's songs touch us so deeply. This album contains so many songs that lend them-selves to ideas. It's About Time; World Game Flight; On the Wings of a Dream and Somethin' About, just to name a few, with out listing them all. Well in closing I highly recomend this album it will give you alot to think about and I believe that it will touch your heart very deeply in a way that you will never forget. My only suggestion is to listen to it at least one time surrounded by the peaceful surrounding found in nature, and listen truly with your heart and soul and not just your ears.

Though many people in the general public have never heard of this album or many of the songs, "It's About Time" must rate among John's best 3-4 albums.

Played at his memorial service in Denver, "On the Wings of a Dream" rates among John's most beautiful and thought provoking songs.

Though this album had the fewest tracks of any of John's album releases, the music is just fantatic. Be sure to listen to "Hang on Tightly, and of course, the title track, "It's About Time."

An important note: John dedicated this album to his father, who died shortly before its release.

I originally bought ths album back in the eighties when it first came out simply because at that time I was experiancing the same things that he was...death of my father, separation of my wife and this album gave me the comfort I needed to go on with life and make it work! I hold a special place in my heart for you dear friend of mine.
