It only took 35 years for guitarist Frank Jones to pool his musical knowledge and experience to record his own music, but if you look at those years as practice for IT'S ALL ABOUT ME, then his patience has paid off. Self taught to the music of artists such as the Ventures and Duane Eddy, instrumental music remains his passion and every note on the EP exudes that passion and hard-earned talent. "K.B." is light-hearted and mellifluous, while "Strat-o-sphere" takes a more upbeat path and showcases Jones' technical prowess on his instrument. Elegant and picturesque, "Slo-cruise" will warm your heart. "Starways" is perfectly titled; it is bright and vivid and stands out for all the see (hear). It was quite a while in the making, but if you take some time to make it all about Frank Jones, you truly won't be disappointed. ~BETH LEWIS
