5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice live recording June 11, 2004
Format:Audio CD
I have no clue what is wrong with the reviewer who gave this 1 star. They obviously need their ears checked for signs of deafness. Great guitar work from Jeff Pevar and David's vocals sound just as good as when he was 20 years younger. Surprise guests include Chris Robinson and Graham Nash! I put this entire CD on my iPod and have listened to it many times over.
If you like David Crosby's music, you won't be disappointed with the songs or the sound quality.

3.0 out of 5 stars A fun night with Da Croz November 18, 1998
Format:Audio CD
Recorded at one December 1993 show, It's All Coming Back To Me features David Crosby fronting a tight band featuring studio notibles Hutch Hutchinson on bass and the tasteful Jeff Pevar on guitar (now of CPR).
The disc suffers from a lull in the middle, particularly the stretch from "Hero" through "Thousand Roads". This will depend on your taste, but Black Crowes shreaker Chris Robinson lends his throat to a fun "Almost Cut My Hair" where the real reward is Crosby effortlessly outsinging him at the end.
However, there is one good reason to own this CD: "Cowboy Movie". It is a long-overlooked song from the If I Could Only Remember My Name days, and it received a driving, if slightly slick, treatment.
Graham Nash lends his voice and good vibes to the remaining predictible tracks, with Kip Lennon playing the role of Stills in the standards, all which receive fine workout, particularly "Wooden Ships".
While this is a CD worthy of your collection, it pales in comparison to the wonderful CPR live disc Live At Cuesta College. Nonetheless, Crosby fans should enjoy this.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite albums June 28, 2006
Format:Audio CD
Very simply, this is one of my favorite albums. Despite the 1-star review below complaining about Crosby's "gruffness", I feel his singing here is easily as good as it ever was; and that is perfection. The old tunes are different enough from the original recordings to be enjoyed all over again, and new track "Rusty and Blue" is great. Crosby is a unique pop artist, and there is an authenticity and intelligence about his work that I feel myself particularly drawn to, never more than here.

5.0 out of 5 stars a real diamond March 22, 2005
Format:Audio CD
This is a fantastic live recording, one of the best I have heard in years. David Crosby assembled an exceptional group of musicians, especially the lead guitar, keyboard player, bass player and as always great lead vocals from David. There is a nice mix of old and new tunes. Good vocals on several songs from

Graham Nash and others. The result is one great recording.

Get a copy of this as soon as possible, you will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perhaps his best effort ever January 30, 2001
Format:Audio CD
I became a Crosby fan back in the 60s and have seen and heard most of what he's done. This is my personal favourite CD. The voice still remains what it always has been. The new arrangement of Deja Vu makes this one of the best rock tunes of all time, in my opinion, aided in no small way by Jeff Pevar's exceptional guitar play. This one is well worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Album-Superb April 10, 2009
Format:Audio CD
David Crosby shines in this live performance. I was skeptical, how many times can I listen to the CSN songs. But, this album is worth a listen. The tracks are very clear and sharp, and his voice is strong. Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes, and Jeff Pevar form CPR days, makes an appearance. I would strongly recommend if your a fan of Crosby's solo efforts.

5.0 out of 5 stars A memorable night with Cros'! February 15, 2014

Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
This was a magical night back in the early '90's, when David was really feeling good. A great mix of old and new material, played by an outstanding group of musicians.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Old Maestro Returns July 12, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
David Crosby's unique voice and guitar playing makes this a "must have" for any fan. He's relaxed, he's enjoying himself and that's what comes across on this "live" performance. In the absence of some stronger material, "In My Dreams" could have become his signature tune. This is a beautiful rendition of a classic song. "Hero" lacks the substance and backing of the version which he recorded with Phil Collins but it's still very good, as are "Till It Shines on You" and "Thousand Roads". "Cowboy Movie" stolen from "If Only I Could Remember My Name" is played with real feeling - it's almost a 10 minute track with Crosby's unmistakable vocals to the fore. After that he revives three of the first CS&N releases - "Long Time Gone", "Deja Vu" and what is I think one of his best, "Wooden Ships". If you like it live and you like it good then this is an excellent purchase.
