Ex-member of the Cash Money and Hot Boys originator B.G. gives us an almost perfect It's All On U, Vol. 1 at the tender age 16. For his age he's well beyond his years with complete graphic gangster tales of selling dope, snorting and balling outta control. This release was before the Universal deal and the bling, bling talk was already in him with tracks like "Get Your Shine On!!" He gives us tales of Uptown's 13th Ward, New Orleans through the eyes of a Baby Gangster on "'N' My City", "Round My Way" and "Uptown Thang (Remix Hot)". This album was produced entirely by Mannie Fresh with his bouncing tracks. With "I Be Thinking" he brings it a little close to home with his known problem with herion. "Silent B.G." is one of the brightest gems on here with convincing lyrics like "...I'mma, 9-1-1 hit a nigga / uh,uh! thugged out, wig splitta nigga / tryin'a, sparkle in this world like glitter nigga..." The young Lil Wayne helped out with the hook on "Let's Get Funky". Just read the titles and you could tell what the album is about, but this one of B.G.'s best release no matter what age.

This is a Cash Money Classic. I think that during this era, Mannie Fresh was at his best with the beats. Now, he has become a little too national for me. I think that he should stay with the fire azz Louisiana beats like on this album.

A ground breaking album,In every way shape and form : beats and Lyrics-I still can't believe he was 16 when he dropped this.Every Track was tight. I did'nt like his last album that much but if he can get back to what he was when he did It's all on you (1+2), chopper city and chopper city in the ghetto, he could be the next Pac or Biggi. My boy has my copy of this and I'm bout to Buy it again, this is a n album that you want to keep in your collection.

This is one of the best Cash Money albums released and defenitely BG's best album. Remember that he was only 16 years old when he recorded this album and then listen to the lyrics. WOW!!!! This man had to grow up fast where he came from! This entire album is solid. Mannie Fresh lays down some very good beats for BG to flow over. Not many people like BG if they arent Cash Money fans. But I advise everyone who is a rap fan to pick up this album because its a classic from tha south that shouldnt be slept on.

I know that Cash Money's time is over, but pick this album up, its a lot different from the stuff that was coming out while they were hot.

Dis is a classic C.D to me. I'm a a big B.G fan and have all his albums.My favorite songs on this cd is ride tonite my favorite and silent b.g.,that was on baller blockin after he killed the killer of juves daddy.I like shine on and the song after ride tonite and the song niggas they comin to get cha.Which also appeared on chopper city.Folks Folks

AT FIRST I THOUGHT HIS MAINSTREAM WAS AT HIS BEST, WELL I WAS DEAD WRONG. THIS IS B.G. AT HIS VERY BEST. BACK IN 1997, WHEN CASH MONEY RECORDS WERE TRYING TO GET A BIG DEAL IN THE PROCESS GETTING A DISTRUBTION DEAL BUT HE WAS THE ONLY ONE TO HOLD THE CLIQUE AS JUVENILE ONLY HAD 1 ALBUM WITH THE CREW WHILE BEFORE THAT B.G. HAD 2 ALBUMS TO HOLD ON DOWN.

VOLUME 1 IS ALL TIME FAVOURITE FROM THE CMR FAMILY. MANNIE FRESH PRODUCED THE BEATS LIKE AN IRON ABOUT READY TO SLANG.
