I am a teacher. When I better understood that regardless of their behavior, children were all trying to accomplish the same thing; they wanted to meet one or more of the same basic needs that I have. When it became that obvious, then I stopped reacting to the way they were acting. I particulary enjoyed the last chapter as another teacher shared her story to prove just how effective this simple understanding could be. I've attended Mr. Faller's workshops before. The information in the book, and the workshops, applys not only to my teaching, but to how I relate to my family, and co-workers, too.
