This show pushes the envelope with everything they touch, and I love it. The lack of regard they show to sensitive subjects should make any South Park fan feel right at home. The characters, although terrible people, become rather endearing and you cannot help but love them. I've been watching this show since its debut, and I have loved every minute of it.

I have been fired from my job, pissed off all my friends and lost 20 pounds because I have done nothing but watch these DVD's since they arrived in my mailbox.

Best show ever.

This is a hilarious show! I have heard to it referred as "Seinfeld on crack." This show has such ridculous and seemingly impossible plots, you will not stop laughing! I have watched many episodes with my friends and they all love the show, and want to keep watching more!
Once Danny Devito was introduced in the second season, the hilarity increased by tenfold!

This is one of the best written comedy shows ever. It never fails to to surprise and the whole ensemble is just perfect. And every year it just keeps getting better and better. It's dark and cynical and just plain funny. I love this show and look forward to it every week. In the off season I plan to watch this boxed set of seasons 1-4. Hopefully that will get me by.

I don't know if I ever laugh as hard as I do when watching this show with some pals and a few adult beverages. The ridiculous characters and crazy stories add up for a very enjoyable and, most times, trashy time.

Don't buy blindly, though. It's not for everyone. Watch an episode and see if it fits your type of humor. I suggest "Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person" from season 3. One of my favorites.

This is the kind of show that you can watch over and over and over, it's that funny! Crazy cast of characters...they're all hilarious, but Sweet Dee is the best.

If you are the type of person who hates political correctness and cute family sitcoms and reality shows ABOVE ALL THINGS, you will definitely enjoy "It's Always Sunny". The main characters in the show have absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever, and every episode is about them trying to make a buck at someone else's expense in some sleazy scam. Be sure to join the guys at Paddy's Pub, the worst bar in Philadelphia!

While it may not be as consistently funny as Seinfeld or Arrested Development, or even Cheers or the Cosby Show, when the cast (and crew) of Always Sunny is on (as they are "on" more often then they are "off") they kill. And these are great character actors. They embody the characters, and it really makes the show that much more enjoyable. When the episodes and the characters are at their lowest (are there more depraved, immoral, selfish, degenerate, funny people out there?) it seems the comedy scale is at the highest. And the characters, major and minor, regular and irregular, are incredible; from Dennis to Frank, from Rickety Cricket to the McPoyles, all GOLDEN!!!! Like I said, sometimes they miss, and as it doesn't happen often, these DVDs were easily worth the "price of admission". I gave friends the link to buy and everything. You won't be disappointed with Seasons 1 - 4, at all.

If you have a dark sense of humor, that is.

I've introduced many people to this show and they also love it.

In terms of the DVDs themselves, know that:
- There is no wide screen version. They're all full screen.
- The quality of the video is not superb. I'm sure it was never meant to be. It's not like "24" quality
- The DVD extras are... really not there. I would have loved it if they put a ton of bloopers in there. Since on many of the DVDs there are only 4-6 episodes, they could have totally fit more stuff on there. Knowing the creators, I'm sure there's some pretty hilarious stuff out there. Oh well.

Complete collection of Seasons 1-4 is awesome. Definitely a great deal from Amazon. My one surprise was when I popped them in and realized that they were not even in widescreen like most of the DVD series I've purchased in the past few years.

That being said, I don't believe these are even available in widescreen, so it's not like I was tricked into getting the wrong version. Just don't be shocked by the aspect ratio!
