Bought this newly published book and decided to create the first pattern called "Uptown Chic Satchel" I found upwards of 7 mistakes and some poor discriptions. Also, the recommended handles and manufacture listed were discontinued some time ago and are difficult to find replacements. I spent several hours reworking the pattern and when I called the publisher they told me "well, we are human and mistakes happen." I hope someone reminds them of that the next time they make a purchase and they have multiple things wrong with the item. It doesn't matter if it's a big purchase item like a car or a small purchase like this book I work equally hard for every dollar I earn and didn't expect that "Ho Hum" attitude toward quality. There was no apology made.... my local yarn shop warned me that several other patterns in this book had issues according to clients.

Always looking for new and interesting patterns and this book fits the bill to a tee.

I've only have experience knitting scarfs, bags, blankets and hats. There are quite a few patterns that I will be knitting out of this book. The instructions are easy to read too.
