Book Description

July 14, 2006
A humorous and sarcastic look at life, success, and becoming all you were meant to be!

Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

Success is not the big secret some people make it out to be. In fact, the principles of success are pretty dang simple. They have been the same since the beginning of time, and they are the same today. We have just become such a wimpy, whiny society that we have forgotten the basic rules required to have a more successful life. In her motivational, humorous, and sarcastic style, Kimberly Alyn sets the record straight on topics like:

-Finding your purpose in life
-Having some passion
-Taking responsibility
-Facing your fears
-Taking action
-Learning to be financially responsible
-Finding a good mentor
-Improving yourself
-Having some fun

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE IT- YOU WILL TOO, September 7, 2006
This review is from: It's Not Brain Surgery! (Paperback)
Once again Kim Alyn has "put the cookies on the lower shelf" on some deep issues. In other words she makes complicated life issues, that seem hard to tackle within reach and accessible to all of us.
"It's Not Brain Surgery!"" is a must have, practicle guide to achieving goals in life in a realistic simplistic way. Makes you say to yourself "now why didn't I think of that"?. This book is easy to read and made me laugh outloud several times even my children enjoyed it.

This is not a self help book! it is a practicle guide to finding the potential each of us has and then applying it!.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely not brain surgery...., February 26, 2007

This review is from: It's Not Brain Surgery! (Paperback)
As I began reading this book I found I couldn't put it down. I wish everyone would take the time to read this book, it would give each of us a greater understanding of the issues we face in our daily lives and how to overcome them. Kimberly provides her thoughts on how "we" as a society need to take responsibility for our actions and to quit blaming everyone else for our problems. The days of making excuses for our lack of personal achievement must come to an end if we are to prosper personally and professionally. Unless we begin to recognize that each of us has tremendous capacity to make a difference in everything we do, we will not fulfill our destiny.
