This book changed my life. I was so impressed I bought the authors cd's so I could get started. I could tell this was helping me with the mental blocks and all the negative thoughts that myself and society puts in your head about "trying" to conceive. I then met with Lynsi for just two sessions (she trains people all over the world so you could go to them instead of Lynsi) and two weeks after I arrived home I was amazed to see I was pregnant!!! One month before my 40th Birhday! I had done 3 rounds of cholmid and tons of acupuncture myan uterine massage, did a lot of natrapathic care etc. All of which was helpful and I'm very healthy now but could not help with the psychosmatic component. I am now 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. My fertility dr. thought this was just so clever and is very interesed in using this in his program. I had unexplained infertility. Don't by the "old eggs" concept. I you are fourty healthy and don't drink but on occasion, smoke, or do caffine and eat really well. You can achieve this. Hey, with hypnosis you may even be able to get away with more because your body already know exactly how to make a baby. You just have to get your left brain out of the way. People tell you to relax, but thats impossible after all you have been through. Hypnosis is the answer to this and many other issues related. Also, if you have other issue like pcos and endometriosis or other medical issues, fertility hypnosis can work with issues too. I have never written a review before but I just had to let people know about this. Maybe by writing this I can help at least one other person with this tortuous issue. This book is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to become pregnant as well as for hypnotherapists. Lynsi Eastburn shares many insights into the mind-body connection that will help moms-to-be not only in becoming pregnant but in carrying a healthy full term baby as well. The case studies she has chosen to share with us are so heartwarming. An enjoyable and informative read. Enjoy!

It is unfortunate when good information gets mixed in with sales mongering. The author has many good points and heartwarming stories, but she is clearly out to sell her turnkey model of hypnosis for infertility. My experience with turnkey models applied to therapy is that they turn art into paint by numbers projects that lack effectiveness and end up being an expensive but soulless facsimile of something that might have merit in another context.

I purchased this book expecting to have some guided imageries, some instruction on how to self-induce a hypnotic state to then implement the suggestions in the book. The book has many, many suggestions for things that can help deal with the infertility, but they are better suited for your hypnotherapist to include in your sessions. It is an okay book, but not really suited as a stand-alone self-hypnosis book.

This is a small book that packs a powerful lot of wonderful information. I recommend it for anyone who is trying to get pregnant. You do not have to be labeled with any fertility issues to get much needed help from this amazing little book. I highly recommend this book. There are qualified, certified Hypnotists all over this country.
