It's election time in Cedar Springs, and the sleepy town is in an uproar. All the fuss isn't just about who will be the new mayor, but about a series of mysterious robberies.
It's Thomas and McGrowl to the rescue! The boy-and-dog dream team are on the case, determined to sniff out the truth behind the crimes. 4.0 out of 5 stars Mcgrowl get;s the governor, October 20, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: It's a Dog's Life ( McGrowl # 2 ) (Paperback)
I would give this book 4 stars. I really liked the book, but at first it was a little hard for me to understand. This book was about a boy named Thomas and his bionic dog, Mcgrowl. Thomas and Mcgrowl were spying on the governer, Mell Munchnick. He was always acting strange. Thomas and Mcgrowl found out that Mes real name was Millie Smudge. He changed his name to Mell because when he was young, he was very bad. If everyone knew he was Millie Smudge, no one would vote for him.
I have read all 4 Mcgrowl books and I liked them all. You would really like the Mcgrowl series if you like exciting adventure.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Mcgrowl Dog Review, May 2, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: It's a Dog's Life ( McGrowl # 2 ) (Paperback)
The book I'm reading is interesting so far because I like dogs that are like Mcgrowl. This book has crime solving case that a boy named Thomas has some problems but some of these cases are funny when he does things wrong. My favorite part is the dog show because Mcgrowl doesn't race but chases a cat. I will enjoy reading the rest of the book.
