This is a very fun book to read! My 8 year old and 11 year olds find this book an absolute scream due to the words being written so they are pronounced with a "New Yawk" accent! The dog characters tour around NYC seeing the sights, so the kids got a geography lesson too. It's nice too for children just moving to a new area, as the two dogs make friends with each other. Probably best for ages 7 to 12. Overall, a fun and interesting book.

As a former New Yorker now living in the south, I LOVE reading this book to my 3 year-old. It was recommended by a teacher friend of mine in NY. The way the New York accent is spelled out phonetically is just great!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
