The early records rank as some of the finest pre-Beatles rock releases ever, and the later records are a fascinating study in how the Everlys reacted to the various musical currents that swept through pop music during the era. It's the complete Everly Brothers in the '60s...exclusively (we're still pinching ourselves) from Collectors' Choice Music! Don and Phil hit the ground running after their leap from Cadence to Warner Bros. in 1960, releasing this classic Top Ten album that featured Don's own ‘So Sad (to Watch Good Love Go Bad)’ as well as a bunch of great Boudleaux and Felice Bryant tunes!

The Everly's releases on Warner Brothers, much like the Elvis' post-Army work, are greatly under/rated and well worth a second look. Their voices, again like Elvis', are at a peak.

Buyer beware: Pickwick/Hallmark Records edition,

Great album, terrible recording. The Pickwick/Hallmark Records edition sounds like it was sourced from someone's old LP recorded straight to disc with all the pops, scratches, and clipping included. I wouldn't even mind if it was a good recording but it's not; it's thin and tinny. Stick to the Collector's Choice edition.

A great selection of Everly Brothers songs. The best part being that it was one of the first albums that I had bought way back when and the music is as timeless as any that you could hope for. An excellent example of the variety that the Brothers could generate. If there is one Everly album to own this is it.
