This is a compilation of seven inches and miscellaneous tracks from an essential band. Unbroken were one of the first bands to bring the power of metal (and a hefty dose of Slayer) to straightedge hardcore, and they stand to this day as one of the better purveyors of the style. Angry and anthemic, neither too crazy and technical nor too simple, Unbroken wrote well crafted hardcore songs that set a standard many bands are still trying to match. They recorded two studio albums, both significantly different in style, and this compilation of tracks provides an excellent sampling their signature sound as it evolved over the years. Definately worth the money.

What can I say about these guys. They play awesome hardcore with some metal and some old school style as well. They combined both excellently. Not only do they play great music but they have the best straight edge band name I have ever heard. Buy this cd, you won't regret it. Rituals is also really good. My only complaint is they didn't stick around long enough for me to see them play a show. They're bassist now plays in another san diego band called Over My Dead Body which is a fun straight edge hardcore band. Buy this cd now!

unbroken were one of the best hardcore bands of the 90s. personally, i liked their seven inches the best and so i really love this cd - especially the first 4 tracks. buy it or you'll fall and stab all your friends in the back.
