the movielife was simply a great band. they really meant a lot to me and it sucks that they broke up. this was their first full length and it is right up there with the rest of their cds. they came from the long island hardcore scene and you can tell its influence in the cd, but not in the way bands now-a-days take from the scene. no screaming here, just raw hard music. its melodic punk/hardcore at its best. this cd will rock you from start to finish. the only problem is you might have trouble finding this considering its out of stock. i got it at one of their shows years ago, but check any local independent record stores and you should be able to get your hands on it. this is a great debut from an excellent band.

"its go time" is a super pick up for any fan of emotional punk. i first heard the movielife on an emo diaries comp, but really got into them after i saw them open for the juliana theory in december. i got this cd, and havent been let down. the cd starts up very fast, and never lets you go. many great songs grace this album, but most noteworthy are racer, champ; and my personal favorite, dead to the world. awesome cd from an awesome band. can't wait to see them again.

If only this cd was still in press and if only I didn't sell it on ebay, I'd be a happy man today. This album is amazing, mayeb their best. You see the best thing about ML is that other than "...gambling problem" they haven't released a bad cd and you just can't decide what's the best. My personal favorite is this cd, which I foolishly sold on ebay, becuase I thought I get some hot dollars with this being out of press. I only did this becuase I had a place that supplied this, but their supplies ran out so I'm stuck to just hum these songs in my head. This is the start of one of the only good pop punk bands ever, these guys are so great. You just hear the song and it stays with you for so long it is great. Listen guys, you need to hunt this album down and then worship it. That is my word.

good cd. if you like movielife or any band that is similar to movielife, then you will like this one.

This CD is my favorite movielife cd to date. It is fast paced punk that delivers something new each track. On the surface, each song is just a crazy experience that keeps your heary pumping and you your head banging but if you read the lyrics, you'll find that the songs actually go a lot deeper than you might have expected them to. My favorite track on the cd is "speed demon"

the movielife is an awesome band signed to drive thru now. they are nothing like mest thou, even though they may have opened for them. if you like mest you will probably like the movielife because they are poppy and you probably have no music opinion. BUT if you dont like mest, dont hesitate to buy this cd, the movie life ROCKS!

The movielife is the greatest band ever. I first heard them when they opened up for Mest at their concert, and they have been my favorite band ever since. Buy this C.D.
