Editorial Reviews

From School Library Journal

Kindergarten-Grade 2-A beginning reader with engaging text and humor. The light, lively tone makes learning to in-line skate fun. Safety measures and equipment are emphasized without being preachy. The colorful cartoons depict multiracial boys and girls of varying athletic abilities. The unique close-ups and unusual perspectives add interest. The only drawback is a rather uneven style due to the occasional rhyming text. Nevertheless, this title will help beginners learn the basics of the sport.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rollerblading, July 18, 2000
By A Customer
This story demonstrates some procedures young children should take when they go rollerblading. Activity and safety precautions are presented in a kid friendly manner. I use this in class at the beginning of the year to stress safety precautions.
