5.0 out of 5 stars If your tween is ready for Mad Magazine, she's probably ready for Happy Bunny
The "Christian" review above had me laughing out loud.

Happy Bunny isn't marketed to small children, and anyone who buys it for a small child because of the cute bunny on the cover is making a huge mistake. Happy Bunny is sarcastic. Happy Bunny is mean. Happy Bunny is anything but nice. And Happy Bunny is very, very funny.

These books are meant for...

3.0 out of 5 stars Happy Bunny Strikes again!
Gave this as part of a Christmas present and she seemed to enjoy it more than I did. I love all the little stickers and shirts you get but the book just wasn't as entertaining. Still funny just not as funny to me as the other Happy Bunny items.

These books are meant for tween girls, most of whom will find it laugh out-loud hilarious.

My only gripe is that it's way too short. To get more of Jim Benton's humor, I recommend his Dear Dumb Diary books, which are longer but also feature a meanly funny main character. For slightly younger girls, I also recommend his Franny K. Stein books. Jim Benton is a very funny man with a nack for understanding exactly how to tickle a tween girl's funny bone.

If you want nice and cute and cuddly, buy Winnie the Pooh. If you want something for a girl who thinks the name Winnie the "Pooh" is funny, you can't go wrong with Franny K. Stein, Dear Dumb Diary or Happy Bunny. Boys, on the other hand, might prefer Captain Underpants.

If you love Happy Bunny, you'll LOVE this book. Hilarious examples of "good" ways to handle a situation, "bad" ways, and of course, "Bunny" ways. This is a must have for all Happy Bunny fans!!! Loved it!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for kids, February 11, 2008

If adults would bother to open a book and look at it before buying it for kids, they wouldn't mistake the Happy Bunny books for children's books. These are hilarious, but not to small kids. Little ones don't understand and/or appreciate satire. Most adults do. Happy Bunny books are for grown-ups.
