5.0 out of 5 stars As good as the first!
Happy Bunny is the sort of thing that no matter how stupid his remarks are, you always end up laughing. The sequel to 'Love Bites', this book is equally as funny, this time tackling life. Happy Bunny's life philosophies are hilarious for all, dispite their stupidity at times. Be prepared: Happy Bunny is, well, to put it plainly--mean. If you have a child that you don't...

i think this is an okay book, but it does not have that actual happy bunny appeal to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as the first!, March 26, 2005
This review is from: It's Happy Bunny: Life, Get One (Hardcover)
Happy Bunny is the sort of thing that no matter how stupid his remarks are, you always end up laughing. The sequel to 'Love Bites', this book is equally as funny, this time tackling life. Happy Bunny's life philosophies are hilarious for all, dispite their stupidity at times. Be prepared: Happy Bunny is, well, to put it plainly--mean. If you have a child that you don't want to give 'ideas' this might not be the best book.
What I like about this book, though, is it is more appropriate for children-instead of talking about love and relationships, Happy Bunny just remarks on life in general, with such remarks as 'You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. But you CAN choose the insane asylum where you have them all put away.'
All in all, this is a hilarious book that everybody will love, and (like me) you will end up having these silly quotes pop up in everyday conversations with your friends!

This was so much fun to read. It's perfect to pick up and read a bit when you get too full of yourself. All of my friends are getting a copy for Christmas.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: It's Happy Bunny: Life, Get One (Hardcover)
this book is so funny. i reccomend it to anyone who doesnt take things so seriously. my favorite is when he says " you cant have your cake and eat it to, but you can have your cake and eat somone elses to and thats kinda better anyway" if you think that thats rude and could come up with 1,000,000 reasons why its innapropriate for anyone under the age of 15 then u should not read this book.

Jim Benton, It's Happy Bunny: Life. Get One. (Scholastic, 2005)

So cynical, and so hilarious. Happy Bunny has been popping up all over the lunch boxes and book bags of children in the past few years, and I figured I'd see what all the fuss was about. Turns out that where there's smoke, there's certainly a good deal of fire in this case; I couldn't stop laughing. My twelve-year-old and I kept reading pages to one another. Probably not the best if you want your kid to grow up in the land of hearts and flowers, but for those of us who live in the real world, it's a clever-- and very funny-- educational tool about the people who are out to screw you over (i.e., everyone who isn't you). ****

If you are looking for a laugh, this book will provide it! Jim Benton's humor may be offensive to some but as Happy Bunny says, "Not listening." This book makes a great gift for pre-teens on up. I love Happy Bunny!

The Happy Bunny series makes for cute bathroom books - I keep them in my guest bathroom and find it amusing to hear laughter from there when people use it! :)

1.0 out of 5 stars Corny Bunny, June 22, 2007
This review is from: It's Happy Bunny: Life, Get One (Hardcover)
Everything about Happy Bunny is so corny. Who finds this interesting anyway? The bunny looks like it was drawn by someone who just got a computer yesterday. The design is plain and boring. Somebody send Jim Benton back to school please.
