This review is from: It's Kwanzaa Time! (Hardcover)
Great book for beginners or on going Kwanzaa observers. Informative and clear on the seven principal days, symbols, recipes and sewing instructions to make your own African outfits. An valuable and creative resource book. A perfect storyteller resource book as well.

It's Kwanzaa Time,
This review is from: It's Kwanzaa Time! (Paperback)
The book uses stories to provide examples of how celebrate Kwanzaa. During Kwanzaa celebrations, a poster of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, Nguzo Saba, are displayed on the wall. According to Linda and Clay Goss, Dr. Karenga added the extra " a" at the end of Kwanzaa so that word would have seven letters to go with the seven principles and symbols. Watoto mean children. Twi is spoken in Ghana
