IT'S MAGIC by C.S. Chatterly and Amanda McIntyre RT Book Reviews Rating **** Roan McNamara believes all of the stories his grandma told him about the faery world. So when his best friend challenges him to kiss a Sighoge, he's afraid. Legend says that one kiss means he'll love the faery for a lifetime. McIntyre explores the consequences in the poignant "Tirnanogue." Chatterly weaves a wonderful story about the strength of a love so deep it refuses to die in "Something Faery Special." After Rory Finnigan rescues Falon Fitzpatrick when her car breaks down, she decides to stay with him, not realizing he is a faery who seduces women on a whim. Imagine his surprise when she seduces him! When Falon leaves Rory he erases her memories (as he must), but feels as though he has lost a part of himself. The TV program isn't in Molly's guide but it appeals to her. As the show progresses, Molly is drawn in to the unusual tale in "The Inheritance," as told in this touching story by both McIntyre and Chatterly. According to legend, faeries only reveal themselves to those who truly believe and, even then, it requires great sacrifice to love a faery. It's Magic contains three delightful tales about people willing to make that sacrifice. Reviewed By: Donna M. Brown |
