Design ideas for gift bags; recipes to fill them. Most recipes contain basic ingredients. I have found that coming up with a "last minute" gift is simple with just a quick review of the pages.

I couldn't wait until I received this book. I took it with me everywhere and read it every chance I got. I have made several crafts and recipes from this book and found them to be the best gifts I had given to anyone. Friends of mine at work asked where to purchase the book because they thought all the items in this book were great! I would love to own the whole Memories in the Making Series.

I haven't been able to put this book down since I received it! The instructions and are very clear and understandable. The pictures make it easy to re-create the many projects that are in this book. And most everything is made from everyday products you probably already have around the house!

A very clever and interesting book with a mind-boggling array of ideas! Very good to have on hand for clever gift ideas anytime of the year.Very good for the novice crafter and inspirational for the experienced. An overwhelming array of great ideas for food gifts ranging from cookies, candies, canned preserves and even teas and wines. Very pleased with this purchase!

It's In The Bag by Anne Van Wagner..I love this book. I have other Leisure Arts books, but this one has wonderful ideas for any time of the year, anyone can do! I'm not a crafter like others in my family..and I can do this!! THANK YOU.

This book is sooooo great!! It is full of so many wonderful and cute ideas and recipes. People go crazy over my creations. I just smile and take the credit! (for a while and them I tell them about the book!!)

Apparently I'm the only one who finds this book, while very beautiful, unrealistic in terms of number of items to buy in order to complete a project. For example, the "Gilded Romantic Bag" requires THIRTEEN ITEMS to make it as shown. The only items I would have on hand would be the glue gun and ruler. Now, if you intended to decorate only one bag, and didn't mind paying for things that you'd probably never use but once or twice (i.e., gold spray paint, Design Master Glossy Wood Tone Spray, gold heart-shaped charm) it would cost a minimum of fifteen dollars to get all this stuff. As I said, it's a pretty bag, but simply not worth the time and money, at least to me. This is NOT for the crafter who wants to make numerous items...much too expensive and much too time-consuming. I was looking for some cute, quick and simple ideas...something definitely not in this book

THIS BOOK CONTAINS LOTS OF GREAT IDEALS FOR GIFTS. A MUST FOR CRAFTERS.

This book is so good, that it has drawn me to look up other works of Anne Van Wagner Childs. You certainly get your moneys worth with this purchase.

A wonderful potpourri of gift giving ideas without breaking your pockets. Your friends will enjoy receiving your homebaked goodies as well as delectable keepsakes. I reccommend it strongly to people like myself who are on a budget but like to do it elegantly.
