Most impotence cases have some organic cause, yet many sufferers (and their doctors) assume the problem is psychological. The MacKenzies (founders of Impotence Anonymous and I Anon), through examples of their own and members' experiences, discuss myths, finding the "right" doctor, and evaluation and treatments for both organic and psychogenic causes. This work is more accessible than Marvin Brooks's Lifelong Sexual Vigor ( LJ 10/15/81) because it's presented from the sufferers' own view. Though the writing is repetitive, the medical information is accurate and up to date. A useful addition to consumer health collections. Robert Aken, Coll. of William & Mary Lib., Williamsburg, Va.
