This book deserves a resounds A+. It addresses that all too often neglected job of emptying the garbage. Trying to make sure that everyone is a responsible, participating family member, is often challenging."It's Not My Job" presents this issue in such a fun and unintimidating way that even my teenagers thought this book was "cool." They even had fun searching for the hidden pictures. It's a wonderful, modern take on the story of "The Little Red Hen." As an author of behavior management material, I think "It's Not My Job" should be a regular read for every family that has children over five. No doubt, it will be a favorite. What a fantastic book!!!

This is always a favorite for young kids. It is a fun story to read because kids love to help you recite "It's not my job", in all the different voices of the characters. All my neices and nepwhews now have this book and love it:) I highly recommend this for all elementary school teachers and parents of young kids!
