It IS you, Song!
I love this song. My first song that I heard by them. Amazing vocals with lyrics. One of the best songs by Halestorm.

Calling the cows home!
I just gotta say, one of the only reasons I listen to this song is because of the cowbell at the beginning. There are three little plinks on it (PLINK PLINK PLINK!) and then the amazing lead vocalist bursts into the chorus, and OH MY WORD, it's the best beginning of a song ever. It's this gal singing about how "in love" she is with this guy, and he's probably all like,...

I just gotta say, one of the only reasons I listen to this song is because of the cowbell at the beginning. It's this gal singing about how "in love" she is with this guy, and he's probably all like, "YEAH, BABY, I'm gonna get some!"...and then she sings "And it's not you!" Amazing.The chorus is amazing, but the verses just don't click with me. They are not catchy in the least bit. And the lead vocalist sounds like she's roaring sometimes, instead of singing. Please, lady. Leave that kinda stuff to the men. But the cowbell makes up for everything...PLINK PLINK PLINK! |
