"Now or Never" was Elvis' biggest hit single worldwide. Released soon after his discharge from the Army in 1960, it quickly climbed to number 1 on charts in several countries including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland among others. It stayed at number 1 in the US for 5 weeks and would eventually be certified PLATINUM by the RIAA. This single left no doubt that Elvis was back from his two year stint in the Army! It even made the top 10 of the US R&B charts.
