Great Book, but has battery problems,
By A Customer
This review is from: Its Potty Time for Boys (Time To...) (Board book)
My son loves this book. It really is helping us with toilet training. My big complaint is that you cannot replace the battery in the "flushing" button. I had to buy another copy because my son was upset when the battery died. I cannot see any way to replace the battery.

I got this book for my one year old son and he just adores it. He carries it with him everywhere and it's always by the potty with some other books also. This book has helped him with potty training. This is a great buy.

Wonderful for potty training!,

We bought this book for our son when he was starting his potty training. What he loves most about this book is the button that you push (it makes a flushing sound). It really helped him get into potty training easier. Since he always asks to hear it when he's on the potty, we keep it in the bathroom for him. My wife and I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is potty training their son.

My son loves this book, it is a little short but, who wants to read a 50page book in the bathroom? By the time we have finished reading this one, he has gone potty. He loves flushing the potty on the book and then when he is done on the potty he loves to "flush flush flush" the toilet. And wash his hands. It straight to the point with great pictures and a noise making thing that all toddlers love dont they? This is my sons favorite book. He is 23months, not only that but, because he is so used to the sound the book makes he is not afraid of the real flushing.

This is the first potty book we bought our son when he got serious about potty training. He loves it! He asks for it every time he sits on the potty and he can now recite the whole book to me after listening to me read it to him a million times. He also likes to push the button to hear the potty flush and he laughs right along with the the laughing in the book. I recommend this book for anyone with a little boy potty training.

Try unscrewing the purple flap on the back of the book, there are two LR41 batteries under there.

Fun Potty Time Reading!,

Fantastic and fun book for toddler boys! It's a sturdy, perfectly sized book with a fun button to push to "flush" with lots of giggles. It's simple but colorful and explains going to the potty in terms easy for toddlers to understand. My son loves this book and insists on reading it over and over and over again!

Good Starter Book,
This review is from: Its Potty Time for Boys (Time To...) (Board book)
As you start to introduce your son to potty training this is a good book. It is a board book with colorful pictures that show a young boy using the potty. It has simple wording that is easy to follow. However, I, too, found that after a few pushes of the flush button it stopped working. The book is basic though. So if your son has already started sitting on the potty it may not be as relevant. It doesn't talk about having accidents, that you need to sit and wait sometimes for the potty to come out, or how to know when you need to go. But it does talk about the process of peeing or pooing, wiping, flushing, and washing your hands. It has a cute write on/wipe off success chart in the back of the book. I didn't find that useful, but some parents might.

I simply love this potty book. I have two children of potty training age...a boy and a girl and I bought both versions of it. My kids love the book and really like the flushing sound. Now when we have "Potty Time" the kids even say "flush, flush, flush" just like the book.

My son just turned 2 and we're not quite ready to potty train but wanted to start giving him the idea. He likes this book and we read it quite a bit. Despite talking about the concepts of using the potty in addition to the book he's still showing no interest. It's still early so I can't blame the book. I give it 4 stars because he does choose this to read sometimes.
