Editorial Reviews

One year after the re-release of their album Learning To Play With on Household Name Records UK, Captain Everything have metamorphosed from one of the many Snuff, MXPX and Fat Wreck-influenced pop punk bands littering the UK scene to a genuinely respected, uniquely relevant band in their own right. A year of near-constant touring throughout Europe with Nerf Herder, Lightyear, Mustard Plug, Big D And The Kids Table, Rx Bandits, Jesse James and Frenzal Rhomb have brought them legions of new fans, and led to a high percentage of radio play on the UK’s Radio One – and even a couple of sessions recorded for the BBC at Maida Vale Studios! The 14 new tracks on It’s Not Rocket Science are simply the best and will go a long way to cement Captain Everything’s reputation as the best pop punk band in the UK these days. Stick on the album and let it blow you away!

5.0 out of 5 stars Watford's finest return, July 26, 2005

This review is from: It's Not Rocket Science (Audio CD)
With a move to, arguably, the UK's leading punk/ska label, Captain Everything have returned with their finest offering to date. Coming on like a British version of Blink182 (except without the stupid obsesion with genitals) their lightening speed fusion of punk and ska is a joy to hear. recommended.
