syracuse hardcore hits the masses,

im going to put it to you plain and simple...
anything named after one of the most brutal and bizarre serial killers known to man. this syracuse 3 man band amplifies pulse-pounding riffs with an entourage of screams and off-beat riffs. with no lead singer in the band, all three produce a carcophany to be reckoned with. with audio from the critically acclaimed movie, "Donnie Darko" it gives the album a sense of twisted irony with songs such as, "You Suck At Life And Im Not Talking About The Board Game".."Nice Shoes...Wanna F**k?" and "Score One For The Team B**ch"...a definate recommend for hxc kids all around.

Ed Gein should make themselves known!,

I 1st heard of this amzing band through a book about the serial killer ED GEIN. This band should definitly make themselves known, the music is so good and it's such fun to listen to! Turn this sh-t up at your next party (f-ck the Snoop Dog and Usher!) and you'll be having heads bangin off the freakin ceiling. This is great-crazy-hardcore-metal that really makes you wanna scream and rip somin apart. I also like the track where it's Donnie Darko insulting the kiddie [...] dudes book. If you've seen the movie, you know what i mean.
LONG LIVE THE GEIN!

alright first of all... this is grindcore... there are NO breakdowns and the vocals are inaudible... and yes that means its not hardcore
this is one of the best grindcore albums ive ever heard, the lyrics are meaningful, the drums are random and fast... the guitars resemble some kind of tech metal - trash alliance or something... and all 3 people bring a different scream into the band. this is also ed geins first album... believe me, 8 songs is plenty once you hear this... you dont be dissapointed the new album is not good and is a serious genre change, do yourself a favor get this album instead of the new one if your thinking about it

Witchian Metal Died Alongside Papa Roach,

Headbanger? Intense Headbanger? Insane Headbanger with no classifications?
Buy this album and try it on for size Ed Gein's debut is a bracing triple shot of luminously onerous bass & guitar riffage multiplied into a double kick extravaganza. Surged atop deafening and occasionally revolting screams from all three members. making for some righteously racous hardcore music. While many will be disgusted by this affair, there are many who adore it. This album differs highly from their sophomore release, as this one is a very intense lap of smothering hardcore, the differences are very obvious. The lyrics are very blunt and irate, which I find as a refreshing read when compared to the infinitely popular ex-girlfriend lashings most hardcore lyrics are. while selective, there are always a base of fans who will find soemthing this crazy to be defining, as I did. Don't take anything a "Witchian Metalhead" says about technical hardcore to the bank, you're bound to be disappointed, trust me.

See my review for Ed Geins "Judas Goats and Diesel Eaters" album. This is just complete garbage.
