I saw this book at a bargain book stor for three dollars and bought it because of the cute dogs pictures. I wasn't thinking it was going to be about september 11, I was just thinking that it would probably make me smile during times when I was feeling blue. Well I looked through it and it was so cute. It was about sept. 11 and would be positive for young children. I am not so young but I still liked it and it is displayed on my book shelf.

This review is from: It's Still a Dogs New York: A Book of Healing (Hardcover)
This book is absolutely perfect for explaining the events that took place on September 11 to young children who are curious. The book follows two dogs, Pepper and Rover, who walk all over New York looking at the landmarks. Pepper is completely depressed, and feels he can't go on, but Rover feels that if everyone works together the world will be happy again. This is a must read for all young children who show an interest, or have questions about September 11. |
