WHY THIS GUY IS NOT MORE POPULAR IS A MYSTERY TO ME.HE IS A FANTASTIC GUITAR PLAYER.HE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BLUES PLAYERS.THIS IS A VERY GOOD CD,WITH A GREAT SONG IN BLEEDING HEART,A TEN PLUS MINUTE WORKOUT ON GUITAR.IF YOUR INTO BLUES WITH A HEAVY JIMI HENDRIX INFLUENCE,BUY THIS.

Jimmy Rogers has passed the torch to his son, and Jimmy D. has not skipped a beat! Jimmy D. powerfully demonstates that he is a soulful and accomplished bluesman in his own right. He is able to articulate his own blues stlyle while still conjuring up vestages of Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and his legendary father.

The entire 'It's Time' CD is well done and SRV's former bandmates provide solid backing to Jimmy D's blistering guitar riffs and wonderfully textured vocals. I agree with a number of the other reviewers, where has this guy been? He is simply fansastic!

This CD rates as Jimmy D. Lane's best effort to date. Stevie's band Double Trouble brind out the best in Jimmy. The playing is tight and Lane's voice has never sounded better. The sound definetly has a SRV feel to it, but without sounding like a tribute CD to him (my biggest pet peeve with contempory blues guitarist). If your a fan of blues rock this one is worth spending a few $'s on.

After reading the reviews I bought a copy of Jimmy's cd and I agree this is a gem. He has great tone and excellent vocals, he's just a great blues man. Tommy and Chris do a great job backing him, this is very clean and well produced. You can tell he learned a lot from his father (Jimmy Rogers) and he has a great style all his own. This is well worth buying check out (Bleeding Heart) the song gives you goose bumps. It is also the longest on the cd so buy this one and enjoy it I know you will.

JIMMY D LANE.REMEMBER THAT NAME.THIS GUY IS JUST A FANTASTIC GUITAR PLAYER ALONG THE LINES OF A JIMI HENDRIX.HE TOTALLY SMOKES ON GUITAR.THERE IS ONLY ONE BLUES PLAYER OUT THERE WHO CAN TOUCH HIM AND THAT IS JOE BONAMASSA.THIS CD IS ANOTHER GREAT RELEASE FROM JIMMY.CHECK OUT BLEEDING HEART IF YOU DON`T BELIEVE ME.BUY THIS DISC IF YOU CAN FIND IT,YOU WON`T REGRET IT.

This album is ridiculous. I almost want to say part of SRV's soul is in this guy...he is that good. Honestly I think this album rips apart his previous two. My hope is that Jimmy, DT and APO will bring out a 4th release...as good as this album or better!

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE GREAT ALBUMS WHERE EVERY SONG IS GOOD. BUY IT.

YOU LIKE SRV, BUY IT.

Double Trouble must have brought part of SRV back, because this album is just plain sweet.

While he may not be SRV, Jimmy D Lane doesnt do any disservice to his heros, Jimi Hendrix and SRV. I think this is an excellent album for fans of teh Blues. I'm surprised not many peopel know about it.

Just read what the other previous reviewers have to say, it is true!!!!! I bought the CD and it is great, you will not regret buying it.

WHERE HAS THIS GUY BEEN?I KNOW HE HAS BEEN AROUND THE MUSIC BUSINESS A LONG TIME,BUT I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE NOT HEARD MORE FROM HIM.HE IS A GREAT GUITAR PLAYER.EVERYTHING FROM THE STYLE OF HENDRIX & S.R.V.TO ACOUSTIC DELTA BLUES SOUNDS.IF YOU ARE A FAN OF GUITAR DRIVIN BLUES CHECK OUT THIS CD YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED.

This one is good, and the more you listen the better it gets. Will be picking up his two earlier records now.
