3.0 out of 5 stars It's a Twin Thing
It's a Twin Thing is a good book. Mary-Kate and Ashley Burke think they're way too old for a baby-sitter. But when they meet Carrie, one of their dad's students, they both think she's perfect for the job. She can play softball with Mary-Kate and go shopping with Ashley. The problem is their dad thinks that she's a little too 'loose'. Their are three main topics.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rating this Series overall, May 3, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: It's a Twin Thing (Two of a Kind, No. 1) (Paperback)
First of all this series sucks. I admit there are funny creative ideas but basically everything is about boyfriends, crushes, the in-crowd: your basic no-good literature. I can't believe anyone would rate these books 5 to 4 stars. I didn't learn anything from these books. It's nonsense. You can find so many other books that really have a point to them, a book you cant get out of and when you finish you're amazed. For instance: "Anna Sunday", "Walk Two Moons","Dragon's Gate", so on!....Its a waste of money to buy these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mary-kate and Ashely, November 9, 2002
A Kid's Review
Mary-kate is a tomboy who loves softball & basketball and she is very messy and wears jeins while Ashely is a cool girl with lots of pretty dresss and she loves shoping and has a crush on a boy at school. There Dad puts a ad up for a babysitter and both girls hate it becase there babysitter is a old lady intill Carrie a cool girl shows up and replaces her. Carrie takes Ashely shoping and Mary-kate to baseball games. One day Carrie helps the girls by saying to trade places at a softball game becase Ashely is no good at softball , so Ashely plays as mary-kate and does a bad job while Mary-kate swings as Ashely and wins the game. There Dad is not too pleased but he was nice about too, So Tomboy and Ashely are very cool twins!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool-read this, October 4, 2002
This review is from: It's a Twin Thing (Two of a Kind, No. 1) (Paperback)
Ashley and Mary-Kate aren't too keen on having a babysitter, but when they meet Carrie, they realize it would be great if she had the job. It's just a matter of convincing their dad,who thinks that modern-girl Carrie will not be a good influence. This is very readable, and I've just bought 2 more books in the series.

This review is from: It's a Twin Thing (Two of a Kind, No. 1) (Paperback)
Its based on their TV show Two of a Kind. Its based on the very first episode. It is so much like the first episode of Two of a Kind. It even has a scrapbook that has pictures in the back from the show in black and white. It is a really good and interesting book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Okay, October 29, 2001

This review is from: It's a Twin Thing (Two of a Kind, No. 1) (Paperback)
This is not the best book in the world. It does get boring towards the end. Mary-Kate and Ashley's dad tells them that they need a baby-sitter. So he hires Mrs. Baker to watch them after school. Mary-Kate and Ashley set up a plan so they'll be baby-sitter free.
