It feels like it's hugging your belly and giving enough support to be comfortable.

The straps can be a little hard to hide under your clothing, especially if you have any low-cut shirts.
Becky Laswell
The mini cradle is MUCH better - you can adjust the strap that goes around your waist/underbelly.

As a Physical Therapist, I knew I would need some extra support to stay on my feet helping patients. That was 4 pregnancies and 2 garments ago. Each of my Cradles have been loaned to friends, and wear well through 3 pregnancies!

Once I hit 4 months pregnant, I really appreciate the support it gives me. Other, smaller straps just didn't contain my tummy, and I like that I can just slide it up or down as my activity requires. Occasionally I get impatient with the shoulder straps, but when I am REALLY big (after 30wks) the straps are indispensible.

This is "the big guns" support contraption needed if you have a big baby or twins in the works. I had two kids in 13 months at the age of 41. On top of that, I work as a chef and am on my feet a lot. Both my babies were almost 10 pounds at birth. My back and pelvis were killing me during the last couple of months with my second pregnancy. In fact, I was in agony every day the last few weeks before birth with every step with shooting pain.
This belt did not solve all my problems but it did make life a little easier to live. As far as women complaining about the straps, yes they are hard to hide under clothes. BUT, I do not know about you, I would wear a clown costume out in public everyday if it made my pregnancy a little more bearable.

I very much looked forward to the support of this cradle during my twin pregnancy. They don't seem to be sized for petite women; rather taller women with long torsos. I tried two different sizes and neither fit appropriately for me. Both fit well through the shoulders but were baggy through the middle, thus not supportive, even in late term. Alas, I returned the cradle for a full refund.

I bought the Prenatal Cradle when I was about 24 weeks along with twins. Prior to wearing the cradle, my back ached all the time. After wearing the cradle just one day, my back ache had already subsided somewhat. Wearing it a few more days brought near complete relief. The cradle felt natural and comfortable, much more so than the around-the-belly-only varieties of pregnancy support I tried.

At this point, I'm 34 weeks along (but I'm the size a typical pregnant woman would be if she went 2 weeks past her due date!), and the cradle is getting tight, so I don't wear it all day. But, it's still a great help to wear for a few hours when I'm running errands or cleaning the house. I hurt in many other ways, but at least my back is happy again! :)

The straps can be a little hard to hide under your clothing, especially if you have any low-cut shirts. The sizing guides available online worked well for me. Overall: this is definitely recommended!

My doctor told me to buy this because my back pain was so bad by my 3rd month that I couldn't stand upright without a pinching pain in my lower back. Within two days my back pain was at a tolerable level, and now I am even exercising! It is a little difficult to get on, and it shows with ALL of my maternity clothing, but it is worth it. I tightened two straps with safety pins so it is a lot more comfortable for my growing belly. This is the exact invention that I needed. With a toddler running around I couldn't be laying in bed all day. If I have any more children, I will definetly use this.

I ordered size according to their sizing chart. it doesn't fit low enough on my back for any back support and rubs the chest. I am only 5 mo pregnant and would only fit worse as time goes by. I am very short and it is too short for me.

We purchased this for my father in law who has a huge stomach hernia and is unable to have surgery. A regular hernia belt would not work with his bad back so we thought we would try this because of the straps and it works great!!!! I would highly recommend this to any pregnant person as well as anyone with our type of problem!!!

I was very excited to try this product. This is my second pregnancy, and my first daughter weighed 10 lbs 6 ozs, and I am not a very big woman. This pregnancy has been rough, my body seems to be worn out, and to beat it all, I work at a hospital and am on my feet for 12-13 hours a day. I thought the cradle would help, but it is just a jumble of elastic. It does not support like it claims and I did not even notice ANY difference in having it on. AND, you can see it under your top, I wore mine with my scrub tops and I peeped out of the shoulder area and all day people asked what it was. Not cool:-( Buyer beware...save your money!!!
