It's a must read for Michael fans.

It truly was a great love story and I'm so grateful to each and every one of those fans for sharing their heartfelt stories with the rest of us.

I was never lucky enough to meet Michael Jackson in person or attend a concert, but after reading this book, I feel like I have.

I just started it and these shared experiences are wonderful. The real Michael is portrayed in these excerpts. I love the ones that tell of Michael being secretly present, watching and laughing, and also the ones about feeling his aura when you just know he is around, just not readily visible.

These fan stories are not for show, as they are mainly chances, I call them "blessings" occurring without the press and paps following him around. He could be relaxed and free knowing he was surrounded by the love and happiness of the fans who go around the world seeking him out.

Reading about all the smiles and giggles, his patience, his time spent signing autographs, his exchanging letters and sheets, pillows, posters, flags with the fans, the respect he had for his fans, etc., this is what makes him the man that he is and will always be. A rare, and precious being.

These amazing opportunities of meeting Michael are just beautiful!

After reading these, I long for him even more. The book also leaves me feeling like I missed out on getting an opportunity to share the same air, a glance, a touch, the smell of Michael. Ahhhhhh.... I just miss him so much.

Get this book, it is wonderful, it will make you laugh, cry, wish, dream...

I will update with more info as I complete the book.

** Another anniversary and birthday for Michael Jackson has come and gone, but he will be here FOREVER. This book is with me to share with my MJ and non-MJ friends because it shows the true essence of what a man, this man, Michael Jackson, who he is and I will forever love and miss him and what a mark he made on the world, and especially his fans. I love you Michael!

I have never been so proud of any one book as I am of this one. There have been many books written about Michael out there, but none of them can compare to this one. It's an amazing piece of well chosen work that is an art in itself.

Stories that have been selectively chosen for this book demonstrate what fans endured and what sacrifices they went through to meet Michael Jackson. Their dedication is felt throughout, their hardships and disappointments of the ups and downs, the tears, excitement and how their love for Michael became ever stronger with every encounter, whether successful or not.

From the fans it demonstrates what Michael himself felt for his fans, his concerns over their warmth, if they ate or not and more importantly their safety was always Micheal's top priority. Michael went out of his way to protect them. His love that stretched beyond what his limits were. The energy felt was as if Michael was the main plug and fans the electricity, electrifying one another to different levels.

You think you know all that there is about Michael, until you begin reading their stories, feel their excitement, laugh at the antics and mania at hotels, and how both the fans and Michael had codes for one another and understood each other, is purely surreal. It's like learning about Michael all over again and becoming stronger with each story. The sadness of his death and how some took it badly, yet were mature enough to handle it and travel and face the ordeal. To me that was the most beautiful part of all.

There is no denying that Michael Jackson was more like a family member than just an entertainer. He was so loved throughout Europe, you can get a sense of it as you read his fans stories.

This book has become my favorite one about MJ. There are sooo many books out there, there are also a few really good books out there, but this one has topped it all for me. Why? Because I can feel it! This is no academic analysis, no chronological biography, no media-influenced tell-all book. It's a book about emotions, about love, as the title says - and you can definitely feel that coming out of each of these stories. Every author has his or her own special story to tell, each story is different but represents the same love. A reciprocal love between the fans and Michael. What a special relationship that was!

When I read the stories, I feel so much closer to Michael! I kind of envy the authors for what they have experienced with him but at the same time I'm grateful that they decided to share their stories because when reading them I somehow feel I'm right there with them meeting Michael in that very moment. There were so many little anecdotes that, to me, confirmed what Michael was like. But I'm sure that many many others will be surprised to read these stories because they always thought he'd be unreachable, untouchable, unwordly, only a marionette, only representing an image. So I really hope that a lot of people read it who are not fans! That's why I would like to turn to everyone, who is just looking for a book about Michael Jackson and say: I know that the "This is it" movie had this as a tagline, but if you really want to see him "Like You've Never Seen Him Before" - read this book!

I was never lucky enough to meet Michael Jackson in person or attend a concert, but after reading this book, I feel like I have. This book was so much more than I expected! The many fans stories made me feel like I was right there with them. Never again will I look at Michael's concert footage and just see a sea of faces. Each one has a story about how they traveled to get there, endured weather conditions like scorching heat, soaking rain and bone chilling cold and snow, waiting days or hours in screaming crowds sometimes to just miss seeing Michael, or to see him for just a few minutes, and feeling it was worth it all. Nearly everyone describes Michael's presence, or aura as being overwhelming. Some share details such as being mesmerized by Michael's eyes and fragrance. His gifts of autographed pillows thrown from hotel rooms or hand written letters tossed to the fans while playing hide & seek from the windows. The fans serenading Michael from below.
Many of the fan stories are from events seen on Youtube, such as The American Bandstand 50th anniversary show, Michael's stage accident during the 1999 Michael Jackson & Friends concert in Munich, or the girl Michael told "I'll give you more than a hug!" There were many fans that were lucky enough to travel throughout Europe attending numerous concerts during Michael's Bad, Dangerous and History tours. Some also traveled several times to the US and share intimate details about their trips to Neverland, and their last sad trip to the Memorial at Staples center. I hated for it to end. You are able to share the laughter and the tears with those you know are sharing their priceless and life changing memories from a place of L.O.V.E. and with Michael, that is what it is all about. If it seems a bit pricey, know that the proceeds go to Make a Wish foundation, which would make Michael very happy.
