I spend a lot of time on my Saturdays searching for new and enjoyable black metal. Though I find a few bands that I listen to regularly, none have compared to the excellent music that Ajattara delivers.
Ajattara has ace rhythmical qualities, which are accompanied by unique and captivating counter-melodies. The vocals, which make Ajattara the "perfect" black metal band, are not screeched or squealed. Their thunderous bellows are comprehensible [in Finnish] and clear enough to make it harsh, yet understandable. Each song is unique and original. Rather than just one favorite song on the album, I love all the tracks. Overall, this is one of the best albums of black metal I've heard.

Heard this just out of curiousity and left me in a suspended state of mind. Still have no clue wat the lyrics are, but they sound just great. This group to me, leads black metal. All songs in all their albums are awesome....just awesome!!
