I have watched this a few times now. I like it for the most part, I think it has some good ideas of ways to interact with your baby, but a lot of it you may find you already do without the intention of "doing" baby yoga. The routines are very short (like 5 minutes)... just a lot of folding arms in and out, bending knees in and out of "chair pose", laying them on their backs and talking/singing to them. Sweet, but basic stuff. I was hoping this would have some moves for mom too, but there are none. My daughter is almost 9 months, and I think I should have just invested in the book she wrote for toddlers since this stuff really is for very young babies. Over all I like it and would recommend, but I am more likely to loan it out than buy it as a gift since I don't think it offers a lot for the price.

I first bought "Play n' Flourish" and was impressed! I like "Sleep n' Grow" too but I noticed sometimes there was too much repitition in a given section. For example, in Divine Digestion of the three segments she shows for babies, two are exactly the same only under different names! I can't notice any signifcant differences in the movements, only in the title! But over all this dvd is a good work. Along with any other dvds, I seriously recommending reading her book. Her book offers jewels of information that are not in the dvd. It's almost like her book is the Bible on the valuable subject. Well, I'm looking forward to her new book "Itsy Bitsy Yoga for Toddlers and Preschoolers" March 2008. She definitely is a pioneer in the subject.

I absolutely love, love, love the Sleep n' Grow Itsy Bitsy Yoga DVD. It has really helped my 10 week old baby girl. She was having trouble sleeping through the night due to gas, but a few days after we started doing the routines on a regular basis, she started sleeping all the way through the night!!!! She sleeps anywhere from 8 to 10 hours!!! Can you believe that???? She loves all of the routines but her favorite pose is "Superbaby". She smiles and laughs every time we do it. Thank you so much for making such a great DVD that helps us new moms get some extra bonding in with our wonderful babies! I recommend your DVD to anyone with kids. I look forward to getting your other DVDs very soon.

The video was easy to follow (particularly with the occasional subtitles), and the set, background audio, and instructor's soothing narration was very calming. I was concerned I'd be too out of shape to do the poses but found it can be done by just about anyone, anywhere.
I practiced the poses with my 3 month old and, now at 10 months, she still enjoys the "divine drops." I have Helen Garabedian's IBY book to supplement the video and I find it just as helpful (allowing me the option to read when I have a free moment and learn the benefits in much more detail). I look forward to her next publication to engage my older child.

I love the Itsy Bitsy Yoga concept and take classes by a Helen Garabadian trained teacher here in DC so I thought I would love here DVDs. But after buying two Helen Garabadian DVDs I discovered that basically you were getting 11 minutes of yoga routines on each DVD and I was pretty disappointed. She provides variations on the same program for toddlers, for a class of infants and a "bonus dvd" which was just a one baby version of the same class offered, I felt a bit ripped off. Helen could have easily combined the two videos into one DVD and it still would barely be enough to merit a video or [...] bucks. It takes almost as much time to put the DVD in and fast forward the repetative intros as it does to do the whole routine. I do love the routines, but I certainly expected more for my money. Also there was very little discussion of technique and or benefits of the different poses.

I truly value how Itsy Bitsy Yoga empowered me as a former NICU mom, to offer something meaningful and life-impacting to our baby! Both Helen's book and DVDs are phenomenal, easy to use, well done and pure joy to share with your baby. I highly recommend this for all new moms. As an Itsy Bitsy Yoga Facilitator who teaches classes, I also recommend this as an excellent tool for moms and dads to practice at home, between weekly classes. Enjoy!

I did yoga myself prior to and during my pregnancy and knew how relaxing it was for me. So when my little girl was born I knew it was somthing I would like doing with her. We actually participated in the filming of this video and loved evey minute of it! I use the Sleep N' Grow poses to help Emma unwind and get ready for bed and let me tell you it works! The poses are easy to learn and once you have them down you can do them anywhere. I would highly recommend this video to all new Moms whether you have tried yoga before or not. I promise you will like it and it gives you a little quiet time to spend with you little one!

Im very disappointed by the quality of this DVD.

According to the site, and itsy bitsy yoga class is about one hour long. This DVD the routines are barely 10min each. There are 3 routines consisting of about 4/5 postures. This is too few and very short yoga routines. In my view it is therefore overpriced.Plus the DVD menu is difficult to navigate and alot of adverts about joining itsy bitsy classes...

Im cross I fell for the amazon advertising on this one!!!!

routines are short and sweet. definitely watch prior to practicing with your baby. it goes pretty fast if you try to do it with the video for a newborn.

I bought this DVD to help creating some nice play with the baby, exercise and relax for me. However, when I put on the DVD, he is rather watching the Video than engaging the exercise with me. I can't really remember the poster myself, and keep watch the video as well.

I tried a few times and decide to just play with him is much easier.
